Lady Red Hawks pick up two more against Corban

REDDING, Calif. - The Simpson University Lady Red Hawks softball team defeated non-conference opponent Corban College in a doubleheader on Feb. 7, 8-0 and 5-2 at the Simpson softball field. In the first game of the doubleheader, freshmen Corinne Alexander and Danielle Crisosto each scored two runs. Freshman Amanda Crocker recorded her second win as a pitcher.

The Lady Red Hawks jumped out to an early lead in the second game of the doubleheader leading 5-0 before Corban scored two runs in the top of the fourth inning. Junior Candice Vallerga and freshman Nicki Feuerbach each scored two runs in the Lady Red Hawks’ 5-2 victory.

These wins put the Lady Red Hawks at 0-0 in the Cal Pac conference and 4-0 overall. Their next game is a doubleheader against Southern Oregon University on Saturday Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. at Simpson University.
