Simpson University to hold annual athletic golf tournament

REDDING, Calif. – Simpson University will hold its annual athletic fundraising golf tournament at Tierra Oaks Club on Friday, April 30. Proceeds from the tournament will be used to support men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports programs and athletic scholarships.
Those interested in the golf tournament can register for $100 per person before April 27 by visiting http://simpsonu.edu/golftournament or calling (530) 226-4703. Registration is limited to the first 100 golfers. Early registration is also available from March 15-31, and benefits will include two free mulligans per player during early registration.
All registered golfers will receive a hot breakfast and 18 holes of golf, including a cart. Golfers will also attend a post-event dessert and an awards ceremony.
Simpson University Athletic Director Joe Griffin said, “We want to build an athletic department that our community can really get behind and support. We strive to have quality teams that win by doing things the right way.”
