Simpson finishes tenth at the Mustang Invitational

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The Simpson University men's golf team traveled to Santa Clarita, Calif., to compete in The Master's College's Mustang Invitational golf tournament on Nov. 1-2. The Red Hawks placed 10th out of 11 teams with a score of 644. The Master's College won the tournament.

Junior Mitch Card led the Red Hawks with a score of 155 over the two days of play. He tied for 21st place. Freshman Kyle Herman finished tied for 40th with a score of 160. Senior Micah Eppler finished tied for 45th place with a score of 162. Freshman Nick Maddalena finished in 53rd place with a score of 167.

The Mustang Invitational was the last tournament of the Red Hawks' fall season. They begin spring play at the William Jessup Invitational on Feb. 23, 2011 in Roseville, Calif.
