Cal Pac men's soccer coaches poll announced

REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University men's soccer team was picked to finish fifth in California Pacific Conference for the 2010 season. The Red Hawks have 11 players returning from last year's squad that finished 3-9 in conference and 3-11 overall.
Defending California Pacific Conference champion Holy Names University captured six out of seven first place votes, making them the pick to win the conference championship again in 2010.
Last year, the Holy Names were the California Pacific Conference representative in the NAIA National Tournament and lost to eventual national runner-up The Master's College in Santa Clarita.
The other first place vote went to the Pacific Union College Pioneers, who finished third in the poll. William Jessup University ranked second in the poll.
