REDDING, Calif. - The Master's College defeated Simpson University's women's basketball team 79-64 on the second day of the NCCAA West Regional Classic. Freshman Bekah Wofford lead the Lady Red Hawks with 23 points and 12 rebounds, and junior Kayla Rackley followed with 17 points, shooting 4-7 from the three-point line.

In the first half, The Master's College jumped to an early 10-3 lead, but Simpson bounced back and went up 18-15 late in the first half. The Mustangs responded by taking a 42-38 lead at halftime.

In the second half, the interior presence of Theresa Brown and the sharp shooting of Erica Inge were too much for the Red Hawks. Inge scored 13 of her 17 points in the second half.

Simpson returns to action on Monday, Dec. 20 against Southwestern College on the final day of the NCCAA West Regional Classic. Tip-off set for noon at the Heritage Student Life Center.
