“We are looking to get ourselves into the best possible position for the Cal-Pac post season,” said Coach Derrick Pringle. “Tonight was a set back, that is for sure, but the season isn’t over. We believe that on any given night we can beat anyone in our conference, we just need to play our game and mentally prepare ourselves. It’s just a matter of playing to our potential.”
The Red Hawks have two games left in conference play against Bethany and Menlo. If the Red Hawks win both games, they may have a shot at third or fourth place. Their next game is on Thursday, Feb. 18 against Bethany University. Simpson faces off against Menlo College on Saturday, February 20. Tip-off for both games is 5:30 p.m. Live video and audio cast will be available via the Internet from the Simpson University web site: http://http://simpsonu.edu/livebball.
