2011 All-Cal Pac men's basketball team announced

REDDING, Calif. - California Pacific Conference regular season champion Menlo College placed a league-high three players on the all-conference first team, and three Oaks won the conference's most illustrious awards, Commissioner Don Ott announced on Wednesday, Feb 23.

Led by Player of the Year Julian Harris, the Oaks also are represented by Nick McCullar, who won Defender of the Year honors and Tim Tatum on the first team. Harris, a senior from Fremont, Calif., the conference's second leading scorer, averaged 17.8 points to guide Menlo to a 14-12 overall record and a 10-2 record in Cal Pac play. First-year Menlo head coach Jon Surface was named Coach of the Year for the second season in a row.

CSU Maritime had two players on the first team - Josh Greenwell and Newcomer of the Year Isaiah Moore. William Jessup also placed two on the first team - Kadeem Kirsten and Damal Neil. Pacific Union placed two on the first team in Steven Catalon and Aren Rennacker. Holy Names had one player on the first team in David Scott, who was the conference's leading scorer with 21.7 points a game. Bethany's Travis Derochowski, who led the conference in rebounds and blocks, made the first team as well.

Holy Names' Colby Herron was selected as the conference's Freshman of the Year.
