REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University's men's basketball team is playing the CSU Maritime Keelhaulers on Wednesday, Feb. 23 in round one of the California Pacific Conference Tournament. Simpson is the No. 6 seed, and CSU Maritime is the No. 2 seed.

Five players scored in double figures for the Keelhaulers as they cruised to a 27 point victory. Isaiah Moore led the Keelhaulers with a game-high 18 points. Pat Magno led the Red Hawks with 15 points. The Keelhaulers out-rebounded the Red Hawks 37-28. David Prendeble had 14 points, and Josh Greenwell and Eddie Williams both had 12 points for the Keelhaulers. Bryan Castillo had 13 points, and Calvin Smith had 12 points for the Red Hawks in the loss.
CSU Maritime 66, Simpson 61 (Heritage Student Life Center – Redding, Calif.)
Isaiah Moore had 17 points for the Keelhaulers as they won by five. Simpson was led in scoring by Bryan Castillo with 25 points. The Keelhaulers out-rebounded the Red Hawks 49-25. Haven Piatt had 13 points for CSU Maritime, and Pat Magno had 13 for Simpson.
