Red Hawks can't find rhythm against Wildcats

REDDING, Calif. - The Red Hawks women's volleyball team was in action tonight in Chico, Calif., where they dropped a match in three sets (25-14, 25-18, 25-16) to the Chico State Wildcats in Acker Gym.

Chico received outstanding play from Mackenzie Snyder. She finished the night with 10 kills on 20 attempts. Jessica Leek had 11 kills and Kristan Music had 25 assists for the Wildcats. Kirsten Duren, who had seven kills and 10 assists on the night, led the Red Hawks. Jamie Pickett had nine digs in Simpson's losing effort.

The loss drops the Red Hawks to 4-13 on the season. They will be in action again on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. when they host Oregon Tech in Redding, Calif.
