Simpson beats UBC by two

REDDING, Calif. - The Red Hawks' men's baseball team kicked off a busy weekend against the T-Birds from the University of British Columbia on Thursday, Feb 16. The Red Hawks started the weekend off right, as they beat the Thunderbirds by two (5-3).
The Red Hawks had big games from Garrett Barnett, who was 2-for-2 with two walks, and Angel Marti, who went 2-for-4 with a stolen base. Scott McKeen was the winning pitcher for the Red Hawks. He allowed three earned runs through eight innings of work. This was his third win of the season. Danny Britton-Foster was saddled with the loss for the Thunderbirds.
The Red Hawks will be in action Friday, Feb. 17, at 5:30 p.m. when they host the Eagles from Biola University at Tiger Field in Redding.
