Red Hawks finish fifth at Northwest Christian Invite

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - The Red Hawk men's golf team was in action on September 17-28 in the Northwest Christian Invitational at Springfield Country Club in Oregon.
The Red Hawks finished in fifth place in the team portion with a score of +88 (925). Concordia University won the team competition with a score of +46 (910). University of Victoria (B.C.) finished second with a score of +49 (913), and Corban University rounded out the top three with a score of +70 (934).
Tyler Falk from Northwest Christian University won the individual competition with a score of +1 (217), and Jed Dalton from Concordia University finished just one stoke off of Falk's low score to finish in second. The Red Hawks were led by Kyle Harman, who finished tied for fifth place with a score of +12 (228). As for the rest of the Red Hawks, Nick Maddalena finished in 21st place turning in a score of +24 (240); Kerry King finished in 24th place with a score of +26 (242), and Marcus Mezzano finished with a +28 (224).
The Red Hawks will next be in action on October 1-2, when they take part in the NAIA Preview held in Salem, Ore.
