Red Hawks finish tournament with 4-3 record

REDDING, Calif. - The Simpson University women's softball team took to the field four different times on Saturday, Feb. 11, as they finished up tournament play in the SU Invitational.

Game one went to the Red Hawks over the Raiders from Southern Oregon 14-5. Game two also went to the Red Hawks, as they came from behind to beat the Warriors from Corban 7-6. Simpson also won the third game in a close one over University of British Columbia 11-9. Finally, they dropped the last game to the Beacons from Northwest Christian University 5-6.

The three wins helps the Red Hawks finish with a 4-3 winning record in the tournament.

They will finish up a busy home stand on Sunday, Feb. 12, when they host Concordia University-Irvine in a doubleheader starting at noon, which will be their 10th and 11th games in a four-day span.
