Simpson loses to Northwest Christian for second time this season

EUGENE, Ore. - The Lady Red Hawks volleyball team were in action on Monday, Sept. 17, when they traveled to Eugene, Ore., to take on the Beacons from Northwest Christian University. The Beacons jumped out early and never looked back, easily earning a 3-0 victory (25-13, 25-11, 25-15).

The Beacons were led by Tami Brown, who finished with 11 kills and two service aces. Cori Wallace contributed 15 assists, and Alyssa Dorr added 14 assists in the win for the Beacons.

Sarah Loogman led the Red Hawks with seven kills. Kelly Tycksen added 10 assists for the Red Hawks in the losing effort.

The Red Hawks will continue their Oregon trip on Tuesday, Sept. 18, when the take on the Owls from Oregon Tech.
