Red Hawks beat conference rival in three straight sets

REDDING, Calif. - The Lady Red Hawks volleyball team was in action on Friday, Oct. 5, when they hosted the Warriors from William Jessup University. The Red Hawks took the match in three straight sets (25-20, 25-18, 25-14) to seal their second straight win.

The Red Hawks were in control from the get go, as they were able to repel any surge the Warriors attempted to mount. The Red Hawks were led by Kirsten Duren, who had 10 kills, two service aces, and 14 digs. Audrey Green also added 10 kills in the match, while Kelly Tycksen contributed 25 assists. Hannah Baldwin led the Warriors with six kills and three aces.

The Red Hawks will be in action on Tuesday, Oct. 9, when they travel to Angwin, Calif., to take on the Pioneers from Pacific Union College at 7 p.m.
