Simpson loses on the road to SOU

ASHLAND, Ore. - The Simpson University women's soccer team traveled to Ashland, Ore., to take on the Raiders from Southern Oregon University on Sunday, Sept. 8. The Red Hawks lost 3-0.

It was a tough night for the Red Hawks, as they struggled offensively and had no shot attempts. The Raiders scored their first goal 24 minutes into the game, when defender Alyssa Bricker scored on a pass from teammate Chloe Welch. Southern Oregon scored another goal before halftime and led 2-0 at the break. The Raiders scored their third goal of the game in the second half and earned the 3-0 victory. Red Hawk goalie Natasha Webb ended the game in 9 saves.

The Red Hawks will prepare for their first home conference game on Thursday, September 12, when they host Marymount College at 1 p.m.
