Simpson Co-Player of the Week: Elden Whisman

Elden Whisman is entering his third year playing for Simpson University’s men’s baseball team. With his leadership, poise and hustle, it is clear to see the passion and heart Whisman has for the game.

This past week, Whisman went 2-for-4 from the plate against conference opponet Corban University. He also added a run and four putouts in Simpson’s first win of the season.

Simpson Co-Player of the Week: Brady Beamon

Brady Beamon has proved to be a huge asset to the Simpson University men’s wrestling team. In his second year as a Red Hawk, Beamon has dominated his weight class for the second consectutive year.

This past week Beamon competed in the 174 weight class in the NAIA National Wrestling Championships. He was seeded 13th and finished in fifth place overall, earning All-American honors for the second year in a row. His overall season record is 24-6.
