Red Hawks fall in Canada

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - The Simpson University men's baseball team traveled to Vancouver, British Columbia to compete against the University of British Columbia on Friday, April 18 resulting in a 7-0 loss and an 8-0 loss.

In the first game, Walker Gemmill went 2-for-4 from the plate, and Aaron Curfman had five assists from second base. Ryan Lombardi received the loss with 38 at bats, one strikeout, and seven earned runs.

In the second game, Kurtis Huffman had the only two hits for the Red Hawks, going 2-for-3 from the plate. Luke Tessman led with three assists, and Cameron Imhoff received the loss with 39 at bats, two strikeouts, and eight earned runs.

Simpson will compete in their final double-header of the season against the University of British Columbia at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m on Saturday, April 19.
