Simpson wrestling ranked tied for No. 13 in NAIA Coaches Postseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Simpson University’s men’s wrestling team tied with York College for the No. 13 ranking in the National Associate of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) according to the 2014 NAIA Wrestling Coaches’ Postseason Top 20 Poll . The Red Hawks were previously tied for No. 11 ranking with Oklahoma City College on the NAIA Wrestling Coaches Final Top 20 Poll.

Defending national champion Grand View (Iowa) claimed the No. 1 spot after winning their third consecutive national title . Great Falls (No. 2), Montana State-Northern (No. 3), Southern Oregon (No. 3), and Lindsey Wilson (No. 5) round out the top five.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the qualifying groups.
