REDDING, Calif. - The Simpson University women’s basketball team traveled to Menlo College to compete against the Oaks in the semi-finals of the California Pacific Conference playoffs on Saturday March 1. The Red Hawks lost 98-80.

In the first half, the Red Hawks came out strong and took an early 19-11 lead with 10 minutes left to play. Tiffany Aaserude and Esther Wofford led the Red Hawks offensively, as open shots and open lanes were created within the offense. The Oaks found their momentum and pulled ahead 45-40 at halftime.
