Red Hawks earn No. 11 seed in postseason poll

REDDING, Calif. - The Simpson University women's softball team continues to move up the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Softball Coaches’ Top 25 rankings. On Wednesday, June 4, the national office released its Coaches’ Postseason Top 25 Poll, and the Red Hawks moved from the No. 17 spot to the No. 11 spot. The Red Hawks advanced to the NAIA World Series by defeating former No. 1 seed Concordia-Irvine. The Eagles were bumped to the No. 10 spot in the poll. Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) earned the No. 1 seed and defeated William Carey for the NAIA World Series title.
