Red Hawks Compete in Humboldt State Invitational

TRINIDAD, Calif. - The Simpson University cross-country team competed in in the Humboldt State Invitational on Sept. 12. Simpson was the only California Pacific Conference team represented at the event.

The men’s cross-country team was led by Joey Belknap, who finished 27th out of 47 runners with a time of 28:33.

The women’s cross-country team finished fifth out of six teams. Holly Pebles had the placed the highest for the Red Hawks, finishing in 29th place out of 49 competitors with a time of 24:49.

The Red Hawks will compete in the Pacific Union Cross-Country Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 27.
