Red Hawks Lose Home Doubleheader to Bethesda

REDDING, Calif. - The Simpson University men’s baseball team lost a doubleheader to Bethesda Christian on Feb. 3, falling 8-6 in the first game and 4-3 in the night cap.

Game 1 - Bethesda 8, Simpson 6. Robert Bristol took the loss, allowing three earned runs on nine hits across 3.1 Innings. Jacob Parent went 2-for-5 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run; Blaine Hokama went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a home run; Dylan Mumford was 2-for-5 with a stolen base; and Jarrett Kirby had a double and an RBI.

Game 2 - Bethesda 4, Simpson 3. Parent took the loss, allowing three earned runs on six hits across five innings. Dalton Grisell and Ryan King combined for two hitless innings of relief. The Red Hawks’ Kyle Ferguson was 2-for-2 with an RBI, and Rath Moseley was 2-for-2 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI.
