Red Hawks Start So Cal Road Trip with Loss to Mustangs

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The Simpson University men’s baseball team began its seven-game Southern California road trip by playing No. 20 The Master's College in Santa Clarita, Calif., on Feb. 11. The Red Hawks fell 8-4 in the nine inning match and managed only four hits.

Robert Bristol took the loss, pitching five innings and giving up five runs on six hits while walking three and striking out three. Kyle Ferguson, Dylan Mumford, Jake Parent, and Rath Moseley all notched hits for the Red Hawks.

The Red Hawks continue their trip by playing Bethesda University of California on Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. in San Bernardino, Calif.
