Hallums and Stower Receive Top Conference Honors

REDDING, Calif. - After clinching its fourth straight California Pacific Conference (Cal Pac) title, Simpson University’s women’s softball team had five players named to the all-conference team: Paris Hallums, Courtney Thomas, Taylor Hill, Ryan Norton, and Kaylana Mah.

Hallums, a sophomore from Rescue, Calif., was named Cal Pac Pitcher of the Year for the second straight year. She also received first team honors. Thomas, a sophomore from Buena Park, Calif., and Hill, a junior from Auburn, Calif., were also named to the first. Norton, a senior from Ceres, Calif., and Mah, a sophomore from San Martin, Calif., were named to the conference’s at-large team.

Simpson’s head women’s softball coach Wayne Stower was named Cal Pac Coach of the Year for the second straight year. He has led the Lady Red Hawks to five Cal Pac titles in six years.
