2011 All-Cal Pac women's basketball team announced

REDDING, Calif. - League champion Holy Names and conference runner-up Menlo each placed three players on the 2011 All-Cal Pac women's basketball team, which was announced by commissioner Don Ott on Wednesday, Feb. 23.
HNU, which ran through the conference with a perfect 12-0 record, headlines the honor list with Lesley Vodiscka and sisters Britni and Jamie Ronolo. Menlo added the trio of Monique Ayers-Cavello, Erika Garcia, and Stephanie Truong.
William Jessup sophomore Ashley Rose, the league's leading scorer with 18.1 points per game in Cal Pac play, captured the Cal Pac player of the year honor and is the Warriors' lone first-team choice. WJU coach Guin Boggs takes home the coach of the year honor.
Vodiscka, the league's assist leader who was also second in steals, is the defender of the year. Ayers-Cavello is newcomer of the year.
Bekah Wofford of Simpson is the freshman of the year.
