The Heritage Student Life Center serves as the home for Red Hawk basketball and volleyball. The multi-purpose facility holds two full sized courts as well as three locker rooms, a training room and laundry facility.

In addition to over 30 home contests a year, the gym serves as home for campus chapels, musical events, and other large community events and meetings.

Besides holding the main athletic offices, the Student Life Center also holds the Music Department and  student lounge for commuter and resident students.

In 1999 and 2000, the Student Life Center was host to the NCCAA Division II National Volleyball Championships. During the 1999 tournament Simpson won its first-ever national title in front of a raucous crowd. Just a few years later, the women's basketball team won the 2002 Division II National Championship in Oklahoma City.


Built in 2000, the Simpson soccer field has one of the finest natural playing surfaces in all of Northern California.

Bleachers on the west side of the field hold over 100 fans, to go along with ample grass areas for fans along the west sideline and south end of the field.


The softball field was built in 2001 as home of Simpson softball. . Directly next to the softball field is a storage unit and full-sized batting cage.

The batting cage is turfed and used by the Simpson baseball and softball teams. In 2003 the baseball team added a double wide pitching mound and bullpen area. The Simpson softball field is now home the Simpson University softball Lady Red Hawks for the 2009 season.

From the I-5 and Cypress exit travel west approximately 1.5 miles. Tiger Field is at the intersection of Cypress and Market Street (Hwy 273). It will be on the left across from Safeway in the South City Park.

Even though, the main home field for Red Hawk baseball is the City of Redding's Tiger Field located in downtown Redding. but Simpson University and Add Some Color, Inc. have announced a partnership that will transfer portions of the present Vacaville Baseball Stadium to Simpson University to construct a baseball stadium on the university's campus. The transfer will take several years to complete, but Simpson University will eventually have a stadium on campus.
