Monica (Lepper) Rodriquez

Women’s Volleyball 1994-1997

In her four years as a member of the Simpson volleyball team, Monica was named NCCAA DII All West Region three times, including Region MVP in 1996. Lepper was also a three-time all conference standout at setter, earning the honor twice in the California Coastal Conference and in 1996 as All California Pacific Conference. In that 1996 season, Monica was also rewarded as a NCCAA All-American and NAIA Academic All-American. The Academic honor was repeated a second year, proving that Lepper was a leader on and off the court.

Paul Kress

Men’s Basketball 1969-1989

Coach Paul Kress heading up the men's basketball program for the majority of time on the San Francisco campus. For 20 years,he was the face of Simpson basketball and Simpson athletics. He coached in over 450 games, far and away a school record. Coach Kress won a school record 177 games, which included two 20 wins season in 1986-87 and 1987-88, the only back-to-back 20 win seasons in the school history.
