College: Thacker is entering his third season playing for the Red Hawks. He earned Cal Pac Freshman of the Year and first team All-Cal Pac honors for his outstanding play during the 2012-2013 season. He earned 2014 second team All-Cal Pac honors. His academic accomplishments include being on the Dean's List.

High School: Thacker played four years of varsity basketball at Mark Morris High School (MMHS). He also played football and was an all-league free safety selection. His basketball honors include receiving first team all-league honors twice and being named team MVP. He is ranked in the top three all-time in assists and in the top 10 all-time in scoring at MMHS. He was the all-area all-star game MVP and an Academic All-American.

Personal: Dalton is the son of Matthew and Carol Thacker. In his spare time he likes to relax, go out to dinner, go to the movies and church, camp, fish, and hike. He likes to do mostly anything that allows him to spend time with family, friends, and his fiancé. His career goal is to go into law.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "My dad was the coach and I was excited for the opportunity to play for him."
