College: Koffa is entering his third season playing for Simpson. He is a left-footed midfielder who brings strength and a strong work ethic to Red Hawks.

High School: Koffa played two years of varsity soccer. He also competed in track and field and played football. He earned the Outstanding Academic Achievements Award in 2008, 2009 and 2011. He won the Academic Athlete Award in 2009 and 2011. He won 2009 and 2010 NCS champion medals and was the 2009 BVAL track and field champion. He played club soccer for Chelsea.

Personal: Meyers is the son of Pauline Koffa. His hobbies include playing soccer, running, reading, volunteering and working. He likes the outdoors, hanging out with friends, dancing, and getting involved in other activities.

Reason for coming to Simpson: “ I chose Simpson University because of the great diversity and family orientation. My first visit at the university in 2011 of March made me feel at home. I loved how the people at Simpson are very friendly and helpful. Also, I loved the side of the classes and I can get help from my teachers one-on-one.”
