College: Williams is entering his first year playing for the Red Hawks. He is a transfer from Sacramento State University, where he was on the Dean's List. His athletic achievements include being the MVP of track team at Sac State and a national championship outdoor qualifier outdoor in 2012. He is also in the top 10 in three different events in the Sac State books.

High School: Williams played four years of varsity basketball at Enterprise High School. He also played football and ran track. His athletic accomplishments include being a two-time northern section basketball MVP, a northern section football Heisman award winner, MVP of the section track meet his senior year, a four-time track and basketball section champion and a one-time football section champion. He had perfect attendance and was an honor student all four years of high school.

Personal: Anthony is the son of Kim Swanson; his guardian is Kelly Bickett. He has an older twin brother named James and an older sister named Amanda. His career goal is to become an educational administrator.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I came to Simpson because it's a great opportunity to play at a Christian college and to continue my education while playing for Coach Holcomb."
