Men's Soccer Coaching Staff
HEAD COACH: Nate Huntsinger
nhuntsinger@simpsonu.eduNate Huntsinger is entering his second year as head coach at Simpson University. This year holds new challenges for Nate, as he is also taking over as head coach of the the men's soccer team. After a positive season last year with the women's team, Nate is looking to continue that success with an injection of young talent to our returning veterans. With a deeper squad than ever, he is anticipating a winning record and a run at the Cal Pac Championship for the women's team.
On the men's team Nate is looking to rebuild after a lackluster season last year. With a rejuvenated returning cast and the addition of some fresh talented faces, Nate believes a .500 Cal Pac record is more than obtainable.
Nate Huntsinger has assembled a coaching staff with all the right components for success. "I am blessed to have such a dynamic coaching staff, with Ken Haynes, Dan Anderson, and Luke Manwaring" said Nate. "With each of them specializing in different aspects of the game, together we make a fantastic unit."
ASSISTANT COACH: Ken Haynes
kch222@mac.comKen Haynes, also known as "The Doc", returns to Simpson for his fourth season as assistant coach. Ken is a great leader for the men's team and has a really strong relationship with the players. His ability to break down games and analyze them is a real contribution to the team and is priceless during half time team talks. Ken was assistant coach in 2004 when the mens team made an appearance in the NCCAA's National Championship. He hopes to achieve similar success this season.
