Holly Pebles

College: Pebles is entering her third season running cross country for the Red Hawks. Her academic honors include being on the Dean’s List and receiving the 2014 Simpson University Faculty Scholarship. She also received the 2013 Most Improved Player for the women’s cross country team. She is looking forward to working with Simpson students as a resident assistant during the 2014-2015 school year.

High School: Pebles ran two years of cross country at Tahoma Senior High School, where she also played soccer and competed in track and field. She received the Most Inspirational track and field award. She graduated as an AP scholar with honors and was a member of jazz choir. She played club soccer for Maple Valley Premier and was named team MVP.

Personal: Holly is the daughter of Frank and Jill Pebles. Her career goal is to teach middle school language arts in socioeconomically disadvantaged schools.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "God guided me to Simpson, and I couldn't be more grateful! Attending Simpson University has been one of the greatest experiences of my life so far."
