College: Wiechecki is entering her first season playing for the Red Hawks. She transferred to Simpson from University of California, Davis. She is a UC Davis Honor Society member and received the Cal Aggie Alumni Association Scholarship.

High School: Wiechecki played four years of varsity soccer at Enterprise High School, where she graduated in the top 10 percent and was an AP scholar. She received all-league and Offensive and Defensive MVP honors. She was team captain for two years and was an Army Reserve scholar-athlete. Her favorite athletic accomplishment was receiving all-league honors because a player is voted for by all coaches throughout the league, and it was gratifying for her to know that she stood out enough on the field that they chose her out of all the great players in the league. She is a lifetime member of the California Scholastic Federation. She played club soccer for the Palo Cedro Sting and North Valley United.

Personal: Baylee is the daughter of Brian and Barbara Wiechecki. Her hobbies include jogging with her dog, competing in long distance races, playing ultimate Frisbee, and riding horses. Her career goal is to become a criminal profiler.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I chose Simpson because the university is a good fit for me. The small class sizes will make the learning experience easier and more enjoyable. I also chose Simpson because of the Christ-centered community, and the opportunity to play soccer."
