College: Gaddy is entering her first season playing for the Red Hawks. She attended Shasta College and Menlo College before transferring to Simpson. She has her A.A. in behavioral science. During her sophomore year at Shasta, she was team captain, was chosen as one of the top players in the league, and was leading scorer for the team. She was also voted MVP. At Menlo, she was chosen as one of the conference players of the week. Her team made it to the conference championship, and she was one of the leading goal scorers for the team.

High School: Gaddy played four years of varsity soccer at Foothill High School, where she also played basketball and ran track. She was team captain her junior and senior years and was voted MVP. She led her team in assists each year. She played club soccer for the Redding Missfit Renegades

Personal: Janelle is the daughter of Brian and Annette Gaddy. Her hobbies include playing soccer, doing things outdoors, and hanging out with her friends and family. Her career goal is to become a school counselor.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I chose Simpson because it seemed like a perfect fit for me. I am able to play soccer while attending a Christian university. I will be surrounded by others believers and encouraged to pursue the Lord. I also am very excited for the opportunity to play alongside my little sister on the soccer field."
