College: Tycksen is back with the Red Hawks for here third season. She is looking to continue the role that she established in her two seasons with the Red Hawks.

High School: Kelly played four years of varsity volleyball at Faith Christian Academy. She also ran track. Her athletic honors include two-time MVP, two-time All-League, two-time All-Conference, and All-Star Team honors. She played seven years of club volleyball with the Colorado Juniors. Kelly's academic honors include high honors and being a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Kelly is the daughter of Kathy Gras and Kyle Tycksen. Her hobbies include traveling and sightseeing, spending time with her family, and hanging out with her friends. Her career goal is to become a second grade teacher.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I choose Simpson because I knew it was going to be the best place for me spiritually, physically and emotionally. I loved the atmosphere that Simpson had and I loved the girls on the volleyball team. I wanted to be on the West Coast but also have some place that reminded me of home."
