College: White is entering her first season playing for the Red Hawks. She is a transfer from Shasta Community College.

High School: White played three years of varsity volleyball at Yreka High School. She also played basketball and competed in track and field. She was volleyball team captain in 2012 and earned MVP, all-league, honorable mention, Most Improved, and Most Inspirational honors. She was the Associated Student Body commissioner and was on honor roll. She played club volleyball for Mocean Volleyball (Oregon) and North State Volleyball Academy (California).

Personal: Chelsea is the daughter of Weston and Kathleen White. Her hobbies include talking, traveling, hanging out with friends, meeting new people, directing and producing comedies, taking selfies, rapping, working out at the YMCA, and accessorizing.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I wanted to be a part of a challenging yet rewarding volleyball program that pushes me to do better on and off the court. Simpson University has given me the opportunity to excel athletically, improve academically, and further my relationship with the Lord."
