College: Ariassa is in her second season with Simpson. Her first season was cut short due to injury. The junior guard will help the Lady Red Hawks offensively as she has the ability to blow by defenders to get to the basket. Hailing from Tacoma, Wash., Wilson played two years at Highline Community College, where she was a standout guard.

High School: Ariassa played three-and-a-half years of varsity basketball at Henry Foss High School. Her athletic honors include First Team All-League selection, All-Star Team selection, most inspirational, and being chosen team captain. She played club basketball for Ladies Beware.

Personal: Ariassa is the daughter of Audret and Arias Wilson. She is a ministry major and her career goal is to be a youth pastor.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I chose Simpson because it is a Christian school, the perfect place to have a God encounter, and where hoops and faith collide."
