College: Goens is returning for her third season as a Lady Red Hawk. She is a hard working striker who always look to score a goal anyway that she can. Her dedication to learning and improving her skills has really helped her become of the best strikers in the Cal Pac. During the 2010 season, she earned California Pacific Conference Freshman of the Year and Honorable Mention honors. She is also a member of the Dean's List.

High School: Nicole played four years of varsity soccer at North Valley High School. She received all-conference honors her junior and senior years. She also played high school basketball and track. She was a member of the honor society all four years.

Personal: Nicole is the daughter of Mark and Dana Goens and sister of Simpson soccer players Natalie and Tyler Goens. Her hobbies include The Lord Jesus Christ, playing sports, being outdoors, hanging out with friends, drinking coffee, and eating peanut butter. Her career goal is to become a counselor.

Reason for coming to Simpson: “I chose Simpson because the community at here is unlike any other. I love the unity of the soccer team, the professors are personal, and the people are wonderful. I get to play soccer with my twin and my older brother! But all in all God is using this place to prepare me and my Christian family for wherever He may take us in His grace.”
