College: Goens is entering her third season playing for Simpson. She transferred from Oklahoma Christian University in 2011, where she played in 16 games for the Eagles. She is an midfielder with a nose for the goal as well as a strong work ethic. She earned first team all-conference honors during her sophomore year.

High School: Goens played three years of varsity soccer at North Valley High School in Grants Pass, Ore. She was captain of her soccer team. She also played basketball and ran track and cross country. Her academic accomplishments include graduating in the top 10 percent of her high school class.

Personal: Natalie is the daughter of Mark and Dana Goens and sister of Simpson soccer player Nicole Goens. Her career goal is to go into news broadcasting. Her hobbies include traveling, playing guitar, spending time with family, studying the Word, reading, and filmmaking.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I wanted to play soccer with my twin sister."
